We’re releasing this on July 4th as a political statement about how veterans are mistreated in this country after war and it’s for sure not because Bryan was too lazy to edit it. First up we’re looking at how war can mess up one’s mind in JACOB’S LADDER. Then we go inside Vincent D’Onofrio’s mind in THE CELL. After that we chat about THE THING and end the show on a spoilery discussion about the whole season of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

It’s been awhile since I commented and I’m weeks behind on your podcast but I do have other things that use up some of my time. Just wanted to say that I agree with Noah’s interpretation of Jacob’s Ladder ( as amazing as this might seem). It’s been a long time since I saw it but never thought it was supposed to be all in his mind.
Also wanted to recommend The Thirteenth Floor as one of my favorite Vincent D’Onifrio movies. Another cool mindfuck of a movie with good cast all around. Also, if you ever get a chance, check out his guest appearance on Homicide: Life on the Street from 1997 “the subway “ about a man pinned between a subway car and the curb with mortal wound, but the pressure on his midsection keeps him from bleeding out, but if they try to unpin him , he’s dead in a very short time. An amazing episode of television that’s incredibly well acted.
Thanks for continuing to cast. I might be behind but I do try to listen to them all eventually
