WrestleMania 35 The Aftermath

WrestleMania 35 is in the books and my last tweet said it all for me, “This years Mania was a whole lot better than last year.” Some matches didn’t last like I wanted them to, Joe-Mysterio I was looking forward to but it became a squash match and Joe won in minutes. The match was probably cut for time.

The main event was everything I was looking for between Lynch-Flair-Rousey. Sure the crucifix pin is questionable, guess I’ll have to wait until RAW or SmackDown to see what happens. Charlotte Flair told a great story during the match being the Queen and telling herself this is her WrestleMania. Rousey took some brutal bumps but she keep going doing her five moves of doom.

The Doctor of Thuganomics made his long awaited return and that to me stole the show up to that point. I knew someone was going to interrupt Elias but wasn’t expecting Cena.

So… Ryder and Hawkins defeated the Revival… Woo! Woo! Woo! So happy for those two. Also, Tony Nese defeated Buddy Murphy to become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

AJ Styles and Randy Orton was my match of the night. I said this before and will say it again, AJ Styles hasn’t had a bad match since coming to the E. And he pulled a good match out of Orton.

Shane McMahon and The Miz was an insane match. Triple H and Batista had one hell of a fight. I enjoyed it. Oh! and the whole Fury Road entrance was the worst ever by Triple H. That CGI video package was bad.

Yes, the Divas of Doom (Beth Phoenix & Natalya) didn’t win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. I was really hoping they would because I’m a huge Beth Phoenix mark. But The IIconics won and I’m happy for them, they have been doing great work on the mic.

Seth Rollins defeated Lesnar with three curb stomps and a low blow. The match was quick in and out. Seth got the job done.

Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan had one hell of a match. There was a few times I thought Bryan was going to win but Kofi did it and it was awesome!

Kurt Angle lost to Baron Corbin. I knew Angle was going to do the right thing and let Corbin get the win. The match was just right for Angle.

Carmella, and Braun Strowman won their battle royal matches. The Usos won and kept their SD Tag Team Championships… Drew McIntyre lost to Roman Reigns, McIntyre should’ve won. And Finn Bálor defeated Bobby Lashley to become the new IC Champ. This match was one side and the Demon looked great.

The Massive One’s Wrestling Figure Hall of Fame (2019)

Bret Hart (JAKKS Classic Superstars series one) For a while I stopped collecting figures, I still had my Bone Crunchers and a few Titan Tron figures but when I saw Bret Hart at Target I had to buy it. Because the Hitman is my favorite wrestler.

Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake (Hasbro series one blue card) This figure is so colorful and captures everything I think of when I picture Beefcake. Pink and black tights and having his right hand in a scissors pose. I don’t even mind his jumping action feature.

Greg Valentine (LJN Wrestling Superstars series two) LJN figures gets lot of love and hate because the poses the wrestlers were in. I had so much fun with Valentine between a punch to a close line, even a Japanese arm drag.

Kevin Nash (WCW Smash ‘N Slam ToyBiz) Probably the best looking Nash figure to that point. Black and red outfit, comes with a referee that’s wearing a watch, and Nash does the power bomb action motion.

Test (JAKKS Summer Slam ‘99 Fully Loaded 2) I’ve always been a Test fan and finding him out in the wild was awesome. He came with a push broom but it’s the little details that mattered to me like his shoulder tattoo, I’m glad it was added to the figure.

There you have it the class of 2019. It was hard picking some of the figures specially during the JAKKS BCA era, there was so many figures around that time… If you like what you just read visit Doiner.com for action figure reviews!

WrestleMania 35 Predictions

The build to WrestleMania has been interesting. Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey will be in a triple threat for the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championship. I hope Becky wins it all because Rousey has been running her mouth far too long. As for Charlotte I feel like she’s a third wheel.

Seth Rollins is going face to face with Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship. I believe it’s time for Lesnar to drop the championship. He’s been doing nothing with it, a match every three PPV’s. It’s time for Rollins to hold gold and try not to reunite with the Shield every other month.

Triple H and Batista came out of nowhere. I didn’t even know Batista was coming back until I saw him attack Ric Flair, and why would he face Hunter? He already beat him at WrestleMania 21. This match is a toss up and… Batista wins.

Kurt Angle will have his last WWE match at WrestleMania and he announced on RAW that his last opponent will be Baron Corbin. A lot of disappointed IWC fans when Angle said who his opponent was. A bit underwhelming. I think Angle will do the job for Corbin.

Shane McMahon turned on Miz at Fastlane. This is another toss up match I can see both men winning but I’ll pick the Miz. Him winning would make a nice Mania moment with him and Papa Miz in the ring together.

Since his return Rey Mysterio hasn’t had a bad match. His series with Andrade might rival anything the SmackDown Six has done in the past. But he’s facing Samoa Joe for his US Championship. I see Joe dominating and since he just won the championship he’s going to leave Mania with it.

Randy Orton-AJ Styles should be good. I haven’t been high on Orton in a while. As for AJ, he keeps getting better and better with each match. AJ will walk away with the W.

I don’t watch much 205 Live but Buddy Murphy has been stepping up as of late and what I’ve seen he’s not losing that Cruiserweight Championship anytime soon, sorry Tony Nese maybe next year.

As for the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal… Top pick is Braun Strowman, I guess he’s going to win. But if I had to fantasy book the winner, Zack Ryder or Curt Hawkins.

Is it time for Kofi Kingston to become WWE Champion? I think so! Over his eleven year career he’s comes close, just coming short being a top guy. As for Daniel Bryan, I like his heel character. Hopefully this feud continues after Mania.

I’ve never been high on Bobby Lashley, his TNA Impact run was probably the highlight of his wrestling career. Keep Lio Rush out of the match and Bálor will become IC Champion again.

I want McIntyre to win because I’m over Roman Reigns as a singles wrestler. But he’s the Big Dog and Vince’s boy. He’s going over.

Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection vs. Divas of Doom vs. The IIconics vs. Samoan Slaughterhouse… I’m just glad Beth Phoenix is back in the ring and from what I’ve seen with the build to this match Phoenix hasn’t lost a step. We getting new Women’s Tag Team Champs with the Divas of Doom.

WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal… I know Asuka got screwed out of her championship to make the triple threat match have higher stakes. As for the winner, I want to see Nikki Cross win. Her work has been great since coming to the main roster.

The Usos will put their SmackDown Tag Team Championships on the line in a fatal four-way match against Ricochet and Aleister Black vs. The Bar vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev… This may be a fast paced match to make time for other matches, but I hope Ricochet and Black get time to make a Wrestlemania moment out of this match. But I’m going with Nakamura and Rusev to win gold.

As of publishing my predictions John Cena, Undertaker, Dean Ambrose, and the Revival hasn’t been booked. Maybe one of them will interrupt Elias or a rematch will happen between Cena-Taker from WM34.

Curt Hawkins Elite Series 64 Review

I received my first WWE True FX figure in Curt Hawkins (Elite 64). I’m glad Mattel is going with the Hasbro model with their figures, with interchangeable hands, heads and sometimes build-a-figure.

Hawkins face scan is perfect and swapping hands is easy like a Marvel Legends fig. He comes with a removable vest, cane, and breakaway RAW wall. I didn’t get the variant but the orange and blue.

Now that I got Hawkins I can now place him next to Ryder to fantasy book a episode of The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast.

Remembering Dynamite Kid

It’s being reported that Tom Billington better known as the Dynamite Kid has passed away today on his 60th birthday.

Dynamite was one half of the tag team duo the British Bulldogs along with Davey Boy Smith. The Bulldogs won tag team gold at WrestleMania 2 defeating The Dream Team (Valentine and Beefcake).

My favorite memories of Dynamite came from the Bulldogs vs. Hart Foundation from the 80’s. Their tag matches were stiff and brutal. It wasn’t until later in life when I watched Dynamite in Japan. His bouts with Tiger Mask were legendary.

Back in 2013 Highlights got the opportunity to sit down with Billington to talk about his career and his thoughts on the Benoit murderers.

WWE WrestleMania 34 Predictions

It’s WrestleMania week and sure enough I’m still not hyped for Mania. Something about this years build isn’t getting my blood flowing like past years. Back in January when Shinsuke Nakamura won the Royal Rumble and announced he wanted to face AJ Styles I was onboard. But in the past few weeks Style was and or is injured and may miss his Mania match… And look at Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns story, the whole no show, showing up when your suspended and still get distorted, I’m not buying it. But it’s WrestleMania this Sunday and of course I’ll be watching it and like every year past, here are my predictions.

I do believe it’s time for Reigns to go over and win the WWE Universal Championship.

Cena will call out the Undertaker at Mania and they’ll have their match. Cena did a lot of trash talking in the lead up and it’s time for Undertaker to shut him up. Hopefully we see American Badass gimmick return.

Daniel Bryan announced his in ring return… Don’t see him losing at Mania. As for Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle facing Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, I’m giving to the Authority. But we all know Rousey and Angle are going over… as for the other matches…

AJ Styles

Fin Balor

Bobby Roode

Nia Jax

Charlotte Flair

Braun Strowman

Living the #FigLife Top 5 WWE LJN Figures

I been really enjoying writing about wrestling figures and I’m gonna finish this series with the LJN line. Big chunks of rubber and paint crashing into each other! They are really indestructible sometimes. What makes the LJN figs playable are the poses the superstars come in. And you can forget about Rick Rude making this list. Worst LJN ever!

5. Greg Valentine

Valentine was a figure I got much later in life from a family friend. I didn’t use him much since Hasbro was popular at the time. He mostly stood on a shelf.

4. George Steele

Talk about a brick of rubber. Maybe a bulldog or Japanese arm drag but in all reality he could splash a laying opponent. I liked Steele growing up so this fig has a lot of sentimental value.

3. S.D. Jones

The longest IC Champion when I was booking my fantasy league. SD could do it all. I gave him a chokeslam finisher.

2. Ricky Steamboat

Perfect hand for an iron claw submission or something simple as a drop kick.

1. Hulk Hogan

From leg drops, diving elbow to an hurricanrana. The Hogan fig could do it all.

The one LJN that never crossed my path was Randy Savage. Never saw one in a store or yard sale. What are some of your favorite WWF LJN figures?

WWE Royal Rumble Aftermath

The women’s Royal Rumble match went on last and what a match it was. Asuka eliminated Nikki Bella to become the first woman to win said match. Before she could choose which champion she wants to face at WrestleMania, Ronda Rousey made her appearance staring down Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and Asuka. She event had a stare down and handshake with Stephanie McMahon.

Some of my favorite highlights was seeing Beth Phoenix wrestling again, I miss her in ring work so bad. Natalya Neidhart eliminated Phoenix. Another person I was surprised to see was the number thirty entrance, Trish Stratus and she still can go. She and Mickie James faced off reuniting their feud. A couple other names appeared was Molly Holly and Lita. Lita got some ring rust. Torrie Wilson and Michelle McCool were good. And entering at number nineteen was Kelly Kelly… What a joke!

Let me get this out there… Jason Jordan is the Marty Jannetty in every tag team he is in. The Bar defeated Seth Rollins to win the RAW Tag Team Championships. Jordan got taken out early by Cesaro by slamming him face first into the ring post. The match was basically a two on one match and Rollins worked his tail off.

The men’s Royal Rumble match was good but it was a bit fast. Shinsuke Nakamura eliminated Roman Reigns to win the match. I and everyone watching the Rumble was happy Reigns didn’t win. A one point it could’ve came down to Cena-Reigns and if that have happened everyone in the crowd would’ve rioted.

Rey Mysterio, Adam Cole and Andrade Cien Almas made surprise appearances. Mysterio shocked me the most since he’s been in Lucha Underground and the way he left the E wasn’t on good terms.

Brock Lesnar retained the Universal Championship in a brutal match with Braun Strowman and Kane. Strowman kneed Lesnar in the head and got a punch in the face receipt for it. Strowman looked a bit shaken by it. This match was spot heavy, from getting hit by chairs and destroying three announce tables and two additional tables. Just watch the match it’s worth it.

AJ Styles defeated Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn to retain the WWE Championship.

The Usos defeated Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin to retain the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Royal Rumble (2018) was good but I still say NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia was a better show when it comes to in ring work.

NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia Results

Mix reactions for tonight’s NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia but I thought it was a solid show top to bottom. Sure there were a few hiccups in Ohno-Dream but still a good match. The Royal Rumble tomorrow night has a lot to live up to.

Authors of Pain taking on Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly is the best tag team match I’ve seen this year. Undisputed Era working over the knee of Rezar really showed how good Fish & O’Reilly are when it comes to facing someone bigger than them, when size and strength isn’t on their side. Fish & O’Reilly retained the NXT Championships.

Ohno and Dream had an okay match. They could’ve slowed it down a little and paced it out. And I still can’t get over how big Kassius Ohno has gotten but he can still movie around the ring like a hero.

Ember Moon put on one hell of a fight reversing the arm bar from Shayna Baszler to get the pinfall. The match was one sided with Baszler dominating but Moon hit the eclipse and a handful of kicks. I don’t see this feud ending anything time soon. Baszler attacked Moon after the match.

Aleister Black defeated Adam Cole via pinfall in an Extreme Rules match and it’s probably one of the best hardcore matches I’ve seen. Other than CZW or some indie show you don’t see extreme wrestling anymore other than the E and this match had everything.

The match between Andrade “Cien” Almas and Johnny Gargano is being called match of the year by some on Wrestle Twitter. Was it a good match, yes. Five stars, argument could be made. I thought it was a good wrestling match. Would I put it next to Omega-Okada, nope. But it was still a damn good match. Gargano is someone I been following since his days in Pro Wrestling Ohio and I’m very happy to see him get an NXT title shot but he came up short.

#RAW25 Is In The Books

I was hyped more than anyone for #RAW25 and it had its moments but fell flat when it came to the Manhattan Center and the fans let everyone know by chanting “bullshit”.

I would be pissed too because the Barclays Center was getting all the top names and segments like John Cena, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Godfather. Where the Manhattan Center got the Undertaker cutting an in ring promo which came off bad and two short matches with Wyatt-Hardy, and Bálor Club-Revival. Sure D-Generation X and Razor Ramon segment went over well, but it took Triple H putting over the fans to get them back on his side.

What you didn’t see was during the commercial breaks the Manhattan Center was getting 205 Live matches and even those went short.

The E tried to do something good but couldn’t really pull it off. I did kinda like the original format, one hour will take place at the Manhattan Center and the next hour Barclays Center and have the third hour rotate. I did like seeing Brooklyn Brawler, Brother Love, the return of the Peep Show even though Christian became a background character. The Manhattan crowed chanting 1 2 3 for X-PAC that hit me in the feels. And let’s not forget the fan dressed in drag like Bobby Hennan did.

Here’s to another 25 years of Monday Night RAW… I said in my Royal Rumble predictions that there may be a setup for a Bryan-Miz match and tonight the seeds were planted again! Miz became the new IC Champ defeating Roman Reigns.

WWE Royal Rumble Predictions (2018)

The road to WrestleMania starts at the Royal Rumble. One man and one woman will go on to headline WrestleMania 34.

Dirt sheets are saying John Cena will win the rumble but face Undertaker at Mania and not go for a world championship title shot. Cena has won in the past and I really don’t like repeat winners and if Cena wins there still needs to be someone going for the SmackDown or RAW world championship. I’m predicting Bray Wyatt to win.

The women’s rumble match I’m really looking forward to but let’s not have Ronda Rousey win the match, just have her as a surprise entrant. I can’t wait to see who’s all going to be in this rumble, hopefully some past WWE superstars pull a one shot. Right now I’m high on Nia Jax and want her to win the rumble.

Triple threat match for the WWE Universal Championship… Brock has been champion for awhile now and Kane is kinda busy on the political scene and then there’s Braun Strowman. The man who tipped over an semi truck! He’s so over with the crowd and Wrestle Twitter, it’s time for him to win gold and I hope he does.

Handicap match for the WWE Championship… AJ Styles will face Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn. I like the direction where Owens and Zayn is going but I can see Owens turn on Zayn if they win the championship. Keep it on AJ and give him his WrestleMania moment in a singles match that has nothing to do with Shane McMahon.

Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin over the Usos to become the new SmackDown Tag Champs.

Cedric Alexander is going for the Cruiserweight Championship facing Enzo Amore and it’s time for Alexander to get gold. He’s a great performer and the Lumbar Check is a sick finisher.

Update: Enzo Amore got future endeavored. So he won’t be making it to the Royal Rumble.

Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan vs Cesaro and Sheamus… Not a fan of Jason Jordan and Kurt Angle’s family storyline and ever since I’ve been sour on Jordan. The Bar has already seen tag team gold, Jordan and Rollins will hold the belts a little longer.

Side Notes: Wrestle Twitter is saying Daniel Bryan will make his in ring return at the Royal Rumble. I would like to see D-Bry back in the ring but not to win the rumble. If he does have a come back, let’s get that Lesnar match out of him and put Reigns to the side. Or Bryan-Miz would be a match I see Bryan wrestling in because the storyline is there if you watched Talking Smack in 2016.

Top 10 Monday Night RAW Moments

WWE is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Monday Night RAW this Monday night by having a simulcast, part of show will take place at the Manhattan Center while the other half will go down at the Barclays Center. And the WWE is bringing back some of their heavy hitters like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, Scott Hall, and even… She’s so bad they named her twice, it’s Kelly Kelly!

And I’m here tonight to give all of y’all my top ten favorite Monday Night RAW moments!

10. Chris Jericho’s RAW debut (8-9-99)

9. Shane McMahon buys WCW (3-26-01)

8. Brian Pillman – Pillman’s got a gun (11-4-96)

7. Lita and Trish Stratus main event RAW for the WWE Women’s Championship (12-6-04)

6. Lightning Kid defeats Razor Ramon (5-17-93)

5. Brock Lesnar returned and destroyed John Cena (4-2-12)

4. DX reunites on Raw’s 1,000th episode (7-23-12)

3. CM Punk’s pipe bomb promo (6-27-11)

2. Hardy Boyz and Edge & Christian received a standing ovation (10-18-99)

1. Bret Hart returns (1-4-10)

There you have it my top ten RAW moments! Now let’s see what special guest Lawrence from the Awesome 80’s Pod have to say about some of his favorite RAW moment.

1. RAW is Owen: Nothing will ever rank higher than me than the night after Owen died. The emotions were high and every superstar was vulnerable and real. Best moment for me was the Road Dogg and Godfather deciding to go smoke a fatty and swap Owen stories instead of wrestling each other. (5-24-99)

2. Formation of the Union: Foley, Test, Shamrock and Big Show. The group only lasted a few weeks but their gimmick was perfect for the time and place. (5-3-99)

Their hokey entrance music just added to the legend.

3. Steven Regal – Real Man, unfortunately Mr. Regals substance abuse issues led to this gimmick lasting only a short time but this theme and gimmick made me pop every time I saw it and is too often forgotten. (10-24-98)

https://youtu.be/4NOzIVWefgo

Honorable Mention: Ric Flair had the best retirement in the history of wresting from his last match to the next night on RAW. This would be my number one if he didn’t screw it up by wresting for TNA. (3-31-08)

Survivor Series (2017) Aftermath

After two nights of wrestling, give me more. I’m calling it now. Survivor Series (2017) was the best PPV, special event, whatever you wanna call it from the WWE. NXT TakeOver: War Games is just a notch below.

The five on five Survivor Series style match’s were awesome! The face off between Snuka-Jax was something I been waiting on for awhile. And I popped when Snuka said, I’m a real samoan. That five on five ladies match was great. Hated to see Becky Lynch get eliminated so early and Asuka cleaning house I didn’t expect anything less.

As for the men’s match. I knew someone was gonna double cross their teammates but thought it was going to be SDLive who did it but it all started with Joe and Balor and it all went down hill from there. Strowman getting taken out early was expected. Having a power house like him, he could take out all of Team Blue. Cena made a return, I guess he is Team Cena unless you count his blue jean shorts. Angle, glad to see he’s back in the E but he can’t go like he used to, a bit slower in the ring and his match up with Cena was a letdown. The ending with Triple H turning on Angle wasn’t a big surprise but Strowman dominating Hunter was nice. It even happened twice. Team RAW won the night beating Team SmackDown Live four to three.

Styles and Lesnar put on a great match. Hated to see Styles ragdolled around the ring but once he got his comeback it was on he took Lesnar to the limits. Styles should’ve won but they gotta keep Lesnar strong. Styles can’t put on a bad match and he brought out a lot in Brock tonight.

SHIELD beat New Day… Also Miz-Corbin was good, it became my match of the night. Corbin won. And Usos best the Bar.

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair did not disappoint… Woo! I can see these two ladies having a program together very soon. Bliss had the upper hand most of the match but Flair walked out the victor, but she had to work for it.

Tomorrow is Monday Night RAW and the fallout of Survivor Series… What did you think of Survivor Series? Comment below.

Survivor Series Predictions And Thoughts On NXT TakeOver: War Games

Tonight is the WWE Survivor Series and it’s RAW vs. SmackDown Live in a battle for brand supremacy. And after last nights NXT TakeOver War Games match I’m totally looking forward to Team RAW taking on Team SmackDown in a five on five Survivor Series match and after looking over who’s on who’s team I gotta say Team RAW with Angle, Triple H, Strowman, Bálor, and Samoa Joe will walk out as victors.

I can see Team SDLive fall apart mid match with someone turning on their partner, maybe Orton attacking Nakamura or even Roode doing so.

In a non-title match Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is taking on WWE Champion AJ Styles. I really want Styles to go over because Lesnar is getting old in the ring with Suplex City. But the E likes to book Lesnar strong and he’ll go over, not in a matter of minutes or seconds because Styles will put up a fight.

In another five on five Survivor Series match Team SDLive with Lynch, Carmella, Naomi, Snuka and Neidhart will go over Team RAW. SDLive have the strongest women wrestlers out of the ten.

In a match between Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss should be a classic. And the amount of momentum Flair has behind her, I see Bliss going over. WWE loves a good story but they also like to turn everything upside down.

SHIELD is facing New Day and SHIELD will go over to keep Roman Reigns strong.

Lastly… Miz, Enzo, and Uso’s will win their matches.

NXT TakeOver: War Games was a fantastic show. I never seen Kassius Ohno get man handled before. He and Lars Sullivan put on a good short match with Sullivan going over via pinfall.

The fatal four way women’s match for the NXT Women’s Championship was match of the night for myself and I’m so happy Ember Moon won and became the new NXT Women’s Champion. I’ve been following her career since Shimmer. She’s a great athlete and what she is doing with the Ember Moon character is awesome.

As for the NXT War Games match I loved every bit of it, but I could’ve done without bringing weapons into the match and I didn’t have a problem that the cage didn’t have a top on it. Having a ceiling on the cage is more restrictive.

Geek Nerdery Podcast: Top 5 Animated Batman Films

I am once again joined by Sometimes Co-Host Mike and Michael from the Awesome 80s Podcast as we’re breaking down our Top 5 Animated Batman Movies!  Some claim to have the best list of everyone, some made their list just before we started.

After all that we chat about Wrestlemania 33.   Is it really Undertaker’s final match?  And the guys give their reactions to the new trailer for Stephen King’s IT.

In usual podcast chaos Sometimes Co-Host Mike and I knock equipment around and my cat seems to ring its bell a lot which I did not noticed while recording.  We aim for high quality here!

WrestleMania 33 Aftermath

The fatal four way to me was match of the night and even though Charlotte Flair lost, she did steal the show. Unlike the SmackDown six pack challenge. Alexa Bliss put on a good performance and should’ve kept her championship.

Since Goldberg’s WWE return it’s been disappointing until tonight when he went to Suplex City ten times. This match was far better than Goldberg-Lesnar from WrestleMania XX.

Since Brock Lesnar defeated Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX, every time I watch Taker at Mania I’m expecting him to loose and tonight that happened. The WWE’s golden boy Roman Reigns defeated Undertaker and this starts the road to Undertaker’s retirement. Hopefully going in to the Hall of Fame at WrestleMania 34.

And now a word from Disco Stu…

With this match ultimately being Takers final match it makes sense that Reigns would go over and let The Undertaker go out on his back.

I’m glad that Taker made this decision to hang up his boots. Tonight was by far one of his worst outings in years. I have read the rumors for weeks that he was in a great deal of pain and needed career ending surgery and tonight’s match showed me that’s all true. He looked miserable out there and clearly wasn’t himself. He had one of the best WWE careers any wrestler has had and certainly was relevant longer than any modern day wrestler. Now it’s time for him to live as Mark assuming he still knows how to.

Charlotte Flair may have stole the show for me, but having the Hardy Boyz return got the biggest pop in the Massive’s household.

I’m glad Owens, Styles, and Rollins won their matches. As for the Miz and Maryse they should’ve won. Miz was so over, he was getting bigger pops than Cena. But Cena had to ask Nikki Bella to marry him… Lame!

Overall, WrestleMania 33 was a damn good card from start to finish. And what was up with that Orton-Wyatt match?

WrestleMania 33 Predictions

The go home shows are over, dirt sheets have been read. But here’s my WrestleMania 33 predictions!

Goldberg and his thirty seconds matches will come to an end… Hopefully. Goldberg already defeated Lesnar on more than one occasion, it’s time for Brock to get the victory.

People are saying Roman Reigns will defeat Undertaker and the way the E is booking nowadays I see that happening. But my soul is on Undertaker.

I really wanted AJ Styles to have his WrestleMania moment without the help from Shane McMahon. It’s obvious we will see a OMG high spot from Shane, that’s all he does. Styles is getting the upper hand when it comes to SmackDown! but Shane will get his victory at Mania.

I’m pleased having Bray Wyatt as WWE Champion. There’s no need for Orton to win, he already made it to the mountain top many of times over. I see happening is a screwy finish to get the belt off Bray.

I’m glad to see Austin Aries back in action, he’s always been one of my favorites. Enjoyed his TNA Impact Wrestling run as well and now it’s time to take the cruiserweight division by storm. I see him defeating Neville to become the new cruiserweight champion.

Jericho-Owens have been putting on a damn good show. From being the best of friends to Owens turning on Jericho at the Festival of Friendship. Some say Jericho is taking time off after Mania, I’ll give this win to Kevin Owens.

John Cena and Nikki Bella vs. The Miz and Maryse… I can care less about Cena and Nikki. Give it to the heels, Miz and Maryse.

Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax… I’m a Bayley fan 100% but as of late not so much. I don’t really see a change but maybe that underdog character she’s been playing is getting to me. Banks is injury prone and the only person that can have a decent run with the strap is Charlotte Flair and that’s who I’m going with. As for Nia Jax, it’s too soon for her to get the belt.

2017 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal… Pick anyone on the WWE roster and that’s your winner but Luke Harper is mine. Picking a second, Bo Dallas. Bolieve!

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Cesaro and Sheamus… These multi tag team matches at Mania is too loaded. It’s like having a triple threat match each year at Mania. I like Gallows and Anderson so I’m going with them.

Alexa Bliss vs. Mickie James vs. Becky Lynch vs. Natalya vs. Carmella vs. Naomi… Another multi person match that may last three minutes, gotta get everyone’s spots in. Keep the belt on Bliss.

Dean Ambrose vs. Baron Corbin… It’s time to give Corbin a championship. And defeating Ambrose for the belt would make his stock rise.

The Triple H, Seth Rollins story has been ongoing for a good couple years or so. And finally they are facing each other. I do hope Rollins gets his revenge but let’s not forget that Samoa Joe is a factor.
